Mini Manequin

This manequin was another workshop taken with Jennie Boxall from The Artistic Stamper at Pickleberry Papercrafts.

We started with a manequin that we Gessoed to cover the very [un]attactive pink spotty swimsuit that was painted on it.

These sat out in the sun while we played in the studio

.................................

We used, Tim Holtz Products - Tattered leaves die, which we used to cut, metal, shrink plastic, modeling film and mesh, musical notes tissue tape and alcohol inks.

We ran the metal leaves through Jennies Vagabond with an embossing folder, and coloured them with alcohol inks.

The shrink plastic was die cut with the leaves die and heated in a UTEE melting pot to shrink and stamped into while still hot and soft.  These were then coloured with perfect pearls.

The Modeling Film was die cut with the leaaves, coloured with alcohol inks, then heated with a heat tool.  As you heat the film it takes on a mind of if own and twists and turns.  You can also mold it by hand or my laying it over something curved till it cools.  If you don't like the shape, simply reheat and start over.

The butterflies and roses were added at home.

The bodice was made using ink coloured and heat embossed sticky backed canvas, with ink coloured lace.

And there it is, the finished manequin.

Take care
