Or the saying goes.
2011 is drawing to an end, hope it has been good to you all and 2012 is even better.
I don't normally make New Year Resolutions, but I have made a little promise to myself that I WILL keep up with this blogging malarky. So here goes [I know it is not New Year yet but I thought I would start a bit early].
Basic Grey chipboard letters and numbers. They are a few years old.
The Compass image was from the interenet. I outlined it with gold pen and clear embossed it. When it was set and cold I bent it to make the cracks and then rubbed ink into the cracks to highlight. Mounted on some cardboard butterly wings which have been coloured with metallic pen.
The 'Tickets' were made with a Sissix stamp die cut. I chose the words to use and then translated them into Portuguese [the language spoken in Brazil], printed them out, die cut them then coloured them with distress inks. The camping and hiking symbols were a download from Scrapbook Max. The photo of the Statue of Christ, is one that Kelsey took.
They were away for a total of 31 days and all returned safe and sound, a lot fitter and a little thinner, full of stories of their adventures.
Well, fingers crossed that this will be the start of regular posts, see you soon
Take care and keep safe
